The Airtech 1000 is a tiny Nerf gun that is now discontinued. When it is part of the "Airtech" family. It can hold up to 4 Micro Darts. The At1K, as it was called, was an ordinary blaster in range, accuracy, and capacity, but it has a very high rate of fire. The auto rotate barrel shoots from the top, halfway through a trigger pull, like a Maverick. The At1K, unlike other Air Tech blasters, didn't use a air pump system, but if the cocking slide was pulled halfway, it would shoot, but less far than normally, as well as if the slide was pulled at any amount.

Description

The Airtech 1000 is the little brother of the Airtech family. It is the spiritual successor to the SuperMaxx 350, being very closely related. It fires 4 Micro Darts like the SuperMaxx 350, and has about the same range. Every shot, however packs a punch; the darts fly at the target which actually hurts from close range. It is fired by pulling back the blue tip at the end and pressing the fire button. Sometimes it can get a bit stiff, making this one very difficult to cock for younger children.

Review

Description - The Airtech 1000 is like the Rocketstorm, the SuperMaxx 250 and 350 before it, and competes very well with them.

Range - 6/10 - It can fire up to 25 feet.

Accuracy - 8/10 - It is surprisingly accurate, making this gun a good side arm weapon.

Reliability - 7/10 - It can be difficult to cock, and can break quite easily.

Rate - 5/10 - Because of the way the darts are inserted, it can take some time to fire the darts.

Overall - 6.5/10 - It is a good buy, but there are better Airtech blasters out there.
