The Alpha Trooper CS-12 is a 2013 N-Strike Elite blaster that can hold up to 12 Elite Darts and is an upgraded version of the Alpha Trooper CS-18. It is a Clip System-type blaster, and because of that, is compatible with all clips. It comes with the blaster itself, 12 Elite Darts and one 12-Dart Clip. The blaster features a similar priming mechanism as the one that is on the Rampage, and also has the option to slam-fire. The Alpha Trooper has one tactical rail which can be used to attach various types of Nerf accessories, such as scopes and flip-up sights. It is compatible with detachable stocks. The blaster has received praise for its good performance unmodified, having better than average speed and range, but has since been rereleased with Elite XD internals. It has an advertised range of seventy-five feet.
How to fire[]
- Single fire
Step 1 - Load twelve darts into the clip.
Step 2 - Pull the slide back until it stops.
Step 3 - Load the clip into the blaster.
Step 4 - Push the slide back forward until it locks into place.
Step 5 - Pull the trigger to fire a dart.
- Slam fire
Step 1 - Do steps 1-3 as you would do when single-firing.
Step 2 - Hold down the trigger, push the cocking mechanism forward and push it back and forth to fire a barrage of darts.
Trivia[]
- The Alpha Trooper CS-12 still retains the lock on the bolt sled from its predecessor, allowing for half-primes which will result in jams.
- Any version released before Hong Kong's release of the blaster retains the original N-Strike logo on the handle.
