Range: 7/10 - It shoots around 25-30 feet, but it doesn't really need to shoot very far, as it should be used as a secondary.

Accuracy: 7/10 - It is fairly accurate, but the darts tend to go astray after 15 feet or so.

Reliability: 6/10 - All jams occur from human error, however it is rather easy to screw up. Using streamline darts will increase jamming chance, and if one is not careful, a dart can get mangled and stuck in the barrel.

  +
Rate: 7/10 - Assuming you are capable of reloading two darts at a time, you could be able to get two darts every 3 seconds or so.

  +
General: 7/10 - A decent secondary, great when you really need two darts to hit the target quickly. However, if you run out of primary ammo, it is hard to use this gun at longer ranges.

The Barrel Break IX-2 is a 2010 Nerf N-Strike Blaster that holds 10 Whistler Darts. The barrel is extended by the push of a lever. Then,it has to be manually broken. There is one very unrealistic part of this blaster;no ejection of shells. This is one of the best Nerf Blasters around. But be careful. Never, I mean NEVER, put streamline darts in there. Nuff' said.
