The Barrel Break IX-2 is a 2010 Nerf N-Strike Blaster that holds 10 Whistler Darts. To reload, the barrel is to be extended by the push of a lever. Then, it has to be manually broken. When streamline darts are used, it jams more often. From its look alone, the Barrel Break was most likely modeled after a shotgun.

Think of this as a shotgun... That's better than the Deploy CS-6.
Ammo: Whistler Darts (Note: Streamline Darts will often cause this blaster to jam.)
Pros: Fairly mobile, is good at close range and can be drawn out fairly quickly.
Cons: Well, since it's a shotgun, it can't be that accurate.

Sure, it's not that accurate, but it doesn't need to be anyway. For god's sake it's meant for shotgunning people! If you want to pick one up, there's no reason not to.
