The Centurion (codenamed the Javelin) is a N-Strike Elite Mega series weapon that can hold up to 6 Elite Mega Darts. It is designed to be a sniper rifle blaster. It is part of the new Elite Mega series, has an overall length of 42", and fires up to 100 feet, although most of the time shots will drop significantly below the maximum distance. It uses Elite Mega Darts, which are held in new MCS 6-Dart Clips. Its average retail is $49.99. It is the spiritual successor to the Longshot CS-6, but also has some resemblance to the Stampede ECS, especially the handle of the blaster. The barrel for this blaster cannot be removed once it is installed without dismantling the blaster. The Centurion also requires the barrel to fire. This is because there is a catch in the blaster that stops the blaster from firing. When the barrel is installed, the catch gets pushed up, allowing the blaster to fire. This problem can be overcome by jamming the catch up into the blaster and keeping it there with tape, glue and/or other materials. Not having the barrel increases the reliability and range of the blaster, as well as accuracy. Unlike other clip system blasters which to be loaded halfway through priming, this does not apply to the Centurion. The clip can be easily loaded simply by just sliding it into the blaster. There is no danger of the blaster being damaged, unless caused by tremendous overuse or mishandling by the user. After its release, there were reports by some people of the bolt of the Centurion getting stuck halfway through priming after a short use period. Hasbro has yet to address these complaints.

How to Load

Step 1 - Load the 6 Elite Mega Darts into the clip.
Step 2 - Push the cocking bolt all the way forward.
Step 3 - Place the clip into the clip loading slot.
Step 4 - Pull the bolt all the way back, then forward.
Step 5 - Pull the trigger to fire the dart.
