The CommLink II is a 1997 Nerf Cyberstrike set of two blasters that each hold 3 Mega Darts. It is no longer available for purchase because its home line has since been discontinued. When it was introduced it retailed for about $29.99. The blasters in this set got good reviews when they first came out.

The CommLink II, consisting of the blasters named Command and Recon (not to be confused for the Recon CS-6), had a unique idea, where the blasters had integrated walkie-talkies, the first and only to possess this capability. The idea behind the walkie-talkie component of the blasters, is that two players on the same team during a Nerf war would be able to communicate with one another. However, the amount of static emitted from the walkie-talkies while idle makes them a liability while sneaking around. They also have a rather limited range; although they can be used up to one hundred feet away from each other, because of static players have to stand relatively close to each other to communicate clearly, making the radio function useless. Trees and other obstacles in the way may also create a disturbance in the radio messages.
