The Detonator is a 1993 Nerf Rip Rockets blaster that holds 2 Micro Darts. It is no longer available for purchase because its home line has since been discontinued. When it was introduced it cost about $6.99. It got mixed reviews when it first came out.

- The same idea has never been done again by Nerf, but has been done by Lanard and Air Zone to limited success.
- It is considered the predessor of the Rangeshot, due to the ability to fire in an arch.
