A direct plunger is a type of plunger seen on all N-Strike Elite blasters, all N-Strike Elite Mega blasters except the Centurion, and the Longshot CS-6 just to name a few. It is less complex than the reverse plunger, and usually has rubber padding at the back to create a seal when the plunger is readied. Due to its simplicity, it is a good candidate for modification and can achieve good ranges.

Motorized Direct Plunger Edit

As the name suggests, the motorized direct plunger is a direct plunger that electronically moves back and forth, which allows for fully automatic fire. When the trigger is pulled, the plunger catch that holds onto the electronic direct plunger goes up and completes an electrical circuit in the blaster, allowing air to be forced into and out of the plunger repeatedly as it moved back and forth. This type of plunger was seen in the Stampede ECS, Vulcan EBF-25, Swarmfire, Speedswarm and Mastodon.
