The Doominator is a 2015 Nerf Zombie Strike blaster that holds 24 Zombie Strike Darts. The blaster is very large, and is basically a slightly modified FlipFury. The gun has no less than four 6-dart cylinders, which rotate around on the pull of a secondary trigger. The blaster can be slam-fired. Out of the box, it comes with the blaster, a foregrip, 24 darts and 2 revolver turrets.
Description[]
The Doominator is a Nerf blaster with four large cylinders and a foregrip. This foregrip can be screwed off and attached onto one of three different positions on the priming bar. There is a secondary two-finger trigger below the main trigger, which is used to rotate the cylinders around. The Doominator lacks a trigger lock, allowing it to be slam-fired. It also has a rather stubby shoulder stock. Unlike most other revolver blasters of recent years, the turret rotates on the prime, unlike the FlipFury, where the turret rotated upon firing.
Internals[]
The Doominator has amazingly complicated internals, with a direct plunger, the turret rotation mechanism and the trigger, all shielded by some plastic casing supposedly to make the blaster harder to modify.
Position in Theme[]
The Doominator seems to be akin to a grenade launcher in the line, due to its size.
Blaster Co-relation[]
The FlipFury can be considered its smaller brother, due to similar functions such as a rotatable turret and slam-fire functionality.
Faults[]
Like all other blasters, the Doominator has faults. The main fault is that the Doominator can sometimes be quite uncomfortable to hold.
How to Fire[]
Step 1 - Load 6 darts into each of the 4 cylinders.
Step 2 - Pull the pump grip backwards and push forward.
Step 3 - Pull the trigger to fire a dart, or hold the trigger down and rapidly pump to launch a volley of darts.
Step 4 - Once a cylinder has been expended, pull the secondary trigger to rotate the cylinders around. Repeat steps 1-3.
