The Dual-Strike is a Nerf N-Strike Elite blaster that is able to hold up to 3 Elite Darts and 3 Elite Mega Darts at the same time. The Dual-Strike was released in 2016 and costs 19.99 USD.
Description[]
The Dual-Strike can fire both Elite Darts or Elite Mega Darts. This is done by a switch that can be flicked to fire either ammunition type. The Elite Darts included a "W" code. This blaster also has a smart air restrictor system.
Position in Theme[]
The Dual-Strike is a pistol-classed blaster, a lot like certain blasters in the N-Strike Elite lineup.
Faults[]
The Dual-Strike's only fault is that it has holes drilled into the barrels, making it less powerful.
Blaster Co-relation[]
There are resemblence of the blaster's barrels. The Elite Dart barrels resemble a Triad EX-3. The Elite Mega Dart barrels somewhat resemble a Thunderbow.
How to Fire[]
Step 1 - Load 3 Elite Darts and 3 Elite Mega Darts into the barrels
Step 2 - Flick the switch to select any of the two ammunition types
Step 3 - Pull the priming rod back
Step 4 - Pull the trigger to fire a dart
Trivia[]
- The prototype version of the Dual-Strike did not have holes in its barrels, so its performance is better than with the finalized retail model.
- Fixing the final Dual-Strike's weakness can be done by gluing or taping the holes in the barrels shut.
- Like the Triad, the darts either pops out or falls out of the blaster when firing, this occurs in both systems. (Elite and MEGA.)
- Adding a(n) scope to the Dual-Strike could block the sight, since the rail is lower than the sights.
- This is the First N-Strike Elite blaster to use Mega Darts.
