The Firestrike is a 2005 Nerf Dart Tag blaster that is a reshell of the Nite Finder EX-3. It is no longer available since its parent series has been discontinued.
The spiritual successor to it would likely be the Stormfire due to the same ammunition capacity amount and better stock features.
Description[]
The Firestrike is a rebadged Nite Finder EX-3 that performs and looks the same. The blaster is only included with a value pack of the Complete 2-Player System. It comes in the colours red and blue, each performing the same strength wise.
Interestingly, the blasters are uncharacteristically sloppily made in comparison to other versions of the Nite Finder. It has a rather simple color scheme compared to other blasters of the line, has slight splitting between the two shell halves, and has visible places where extra plastic was sloppily cut off. This is present on both colors. The sloppy light is a normal characteristic of all Nite Finders.
History:[]
The Firestrike is one of the rarest blasters of the entire 2000's, with the red version being the rarer of the two colors. It is the only blaster only available in a bonus pack of another blaster.
Trivia[]
- It is the only known blaster from any mainstream brand to have only come in the bonus pack of another blaster, much like the Barricade stock.
- It also appears to have been rushed for unknown reasons, perhaps to get a pistol counterpart to the original HyperFire out there that was Dart Tag-themed.
