The Hydro Bazooka is a Hydro Nerf blaster made and stocked in 1990. It is a remodeled version of the Blast-A-Ball and Blast-A-Matic, and is one of the first blasters ever sold. It looks like it will fire a Ballistic Ball at the enemy, however it shoots a burst of water with the ball shot. Because of being one of the very first blasters made, it has extremely poor accuracy and range.it also can hold 4 Ballistic Balls.

Description

The Nerf® Hydro Bazooka™ is one of the few weapons in the Hydro™ line. The weapon is capable of firing one ball and a blast of water. The gun has the added feature of having a ball attached to the weapon via plastic string. This allows the ball to stay attached to the weapon while the gun only fires water. The user of the weapon may also "fake out" his opponents by pretending to have a real ball in the barrel, while it actually is the ball that is attached to the gun.

Review

Description - The Hydro Bazooka is a Nerf blaster that fires Ballistic Balls and water at the same time. It has a fake Ballistic Ball for confusing enemies.

Range - 4/10 - The range on the Hydro Bazooka is among the worst of Ballistic Ball firing weapons.

Accuracy - 5/10 - The blaster actually fires the water farther than the ball in some cases, leading to mediocre accuracy.

Reliability - 10/10 - Comparable to a Super Soaker, this blaster does not have any major known problems.

Rate - 3/10 - It takes 2.93 seconds per shot.

General - 5.5/10 - The Hydro Bazooka is better off used as a water gun than as a Nerf blaster.

Trivia

  • The failure of this blaster on the market led to the cancellation of the Hydro line before another blaster could be made.
