Check out your Admin Dashboard, which can by found by clicking "Admin" on the bottom toolbar -- it has links to all your new tools. Please let me know if you have any questions, and good luck with your new (old) wiki!
There you go, matey. Enjoy the administrative rights. If you wish to promote me back to admin, you can; otherwise, you can just run the wiki. You're doing a good job, keep it up. If you still need help, feel free to ask.
I am not sure if this has been mentioned at all, so I'd like to bring up something. Nerfipedia was supposed to be merged in with the Nerf Wiki; this can be seen if you try and access any pages under "nerfipedia.wikia.com", as they redirect to the Nerf Wiki. I am unsure why there is a second Nerfipedia, not sure what the reasoning behind reuploading the entire wiki to a new name was. But, matter of fact is that this happened after agreement on either side and kind of... was not supposed to happen.
Am I allowed to ask why this is allowed, if it's a complete reupload of, essentially, a duplicate wiki?
This wiki is the original wiki created at "nerfipedia.wikia.com". It was simply assigned a new URL.
As far as I can trace the history through our support requests, it was closed and redirected to Nerf Wiki. A little while later, the same person who requested that merge requested that it be re-opened at this "legacy" URL, so they could access content they had not copied over before the original merge. When it was re-opened they were explicitly told that this wiki could be adopted and would not be locked from editing.
So no, it is not a "reupload", nor is it an exact duplicate of the other Nerf Wiki, as no content was ever imported from that one to this one. Fandom is happy to host multiple wikis on the same subject and always has been.
Just so you know, there are no administrators or bureaucrats on this wiki since everyone of them has resigned from their positions, including me; this means that vandalism can spread quite rapidly unless there is an administrator or bureaucrat. I would reapply to adopt this wiki again but it'll be weird for a former administrator of said wiki to adopt the wiki again. Since you are doing a good job of keeping this wiki in good shape, I suggest you adopt this wiki along with your anonymous pal, but he can't receive any administrative permissions unless he creates a user account.
Also, keep the running of this wiki in secret. We've had a long history of feud with a certain other wiki, and if that comes up again, I don't wish to have to deal with it any more; that feud was just unnecessary, and I don't want to have to get in a heated discussion with a certain user (whom I shall not mention) who is just pushing it even further.
Just so you know, within that time, the adoption request got an unofficial response; give it a few days before it gets answered officially. While you're at it, continue with those good edits you have made over the past 2 months, and you'll get your administrative rights.
Hello there, I'm one of the older administrators of Nerf Blaster Wiki; I have resigned from my post because of the amount of work that was getting into my life. I see that you've been helping to keep this wiki in shape, keep up the good work. If you want to, you can adopt this wiki, unless it is too much hassle for you, or if you are caught up with other projects.
Other than that, keep up the good work; the wiki is in good hands.
