The NitroQuad is a 1998 Nerf Mega Blitz blaster that holds 4 Micro Darts. It is no longer available. It cost $9.99. It got poor reviews.

Dart Selection[]

The Dart Selection is dependent of wether the blaster is in its right or left-handed configuration.

If it is in its right-hand configuration, the user should go based off of the numbers, which correspond with the numbers in the four holes atop the blaster.

If the blaster is in its left-hand configuration, the user should go based off the letters, which are what is seen in the corresponding holes atop the blaster in this configuration.

Misinformation[]

The NitroQuad is subject to severe misinformation, which will be rectified here.

Does the NitroQuad fire Mega Darts or Micro Darts?

The NitroQuad fires Micro Darts, and Micro Darts are what's included with the blaster.

Is the NitroQuad only for right-handers?

The NitroQuad is designed to be used by both right and left-handed people, this is the reason the blaster has both number and letter settings.

Why is the trigger in an awkward place?

If your NitroQuad trigger is facing the opposite way of the barrels, the trigger is backwards, and the plunger assembly/handle needs to be rotated 180 degrees. If the trigger and silver-painted side are facing the same way as the barrel, it is correct.

Trivia:[]

  • The NitroQuad is one of the few blasters whose unique function would never be re-visited.
  • The handle of the plunger rod closely resembles the ends of the RipChord's cords, which closely resemble a 2D piston. This is because of the patron series' general theme.
  • It is one of the few gauntlet-style blasters that can be used by right and left-handed shooters, and the only blaster which can be reassembled for either type of shooter.
  • Itself, the RipChord, and the Triple Torch are the rarest blasters of 1998, with only the SuperMaxx Disc Shooter coming close in rarity.
