A Plunger catch spring is a part in a blaster. It is a spring that holds onto the plunger catch, so that it will automatically snap back into its original position when the firing trigger of the blaster is not pulled. When the firing trigger of a blaster is pulled, the spring extends, pulling the catch upwards. This releases the plunger of the blaster, whether it be a direct plunger or a reverse plunger, forcing it forward, and firing the dart or disc. The plunger catch spring is essential for a blaster's function, similar to some safety locks.
