The Rapid Madness is a 2014 Mattel BOOMco blaster that holds 20 Smart Stick Darts. It uses a repeating air mechanism to fire the darts, in a fashion similar to a Magstrike AS-10. It is the flagship blaster of the BOOMco line. It has a Smart Stick Shield, which can be attached on to the blaster's rail, and is deployed by pushing a button. The shield allows a user to register "hits". It claims a range of 50 feet. It comes packaged with the blaster itself, thirty black Smart Stick Darts, a red Smart Stick Round, a Smart Stick Target, a 20-Smart Stick Dart Clip and instructions.
How to fire[]
Step 1 - Load 20 darts into the clip.
Step 2 - Insert the clip into the left side of the blaster.
Step 3 - Pump the blaster 18 times. Do not pump more than the amount stated or it could damage the blaster.
Step 4 - Pull the trigger for a short time to launch 1 dart, or pull all the way and hold to fire a volley of darts.
