The Sidewinder was the medium blaster in the first run of X-Shot blasters, firing 9 X-Shot Darts and water. It is a pump-action blaster, unlike the others in the X-Shot line. There was to be a disc-firing variant, but it was cancelled.
How to fire[]
- Darts
Step 1 - Load 9 darts into the turret.
Step 2 - Pull the handle at the rear back.
Step 3 - Push it all the way forward to fire a dart.
- Water
Step 1 - Place the front of the blaster in a bucket of water.
Step 2 - Pull the handle at the rear back to suck up the water.
Step 3 - Push the handle all the way forward to fire the water.
Trivia[]
- It is the only X-Shot blaster that has a false trigger.
- The concept of a blaster that shoots both water and darts is also seen in the older Nerf Switchshots line.
