The Slingfire DX-400 was a 2001 Power Nerf series blaster that holds and fires 4 Micro Darts. It is no longer available for purchase. It retailed $9.99. It had gotten poor reviews from those who owned it. It is a very rare blaster, due to it having seen a very limited release.
Details
It fires by pulling the cord at the back, similar in functionality to the RipChord. Unlike the RipChord, however, it shoots one less dart. Pulling back the Slingfire's cord advances the barrel and engages the plunger, and releasing it fires a dart.
Position in Theme
The Slingfire DX-400 acts as something of a sidearm or a back-up weapon in the Power Nerf series.
How to Fire
Step 1 - Load 4 darts into the barrels.
Step 2 - Pull back the cord to advance the barrel and release to fire a dart.
