The Sonic Micro Dart is a Micro Dart variation that whistles when fired from a wide range, which is created by a small opening at the top of the dart which emits a sound when traveling at sufficient speeds. These darts have since been replaced by Whistler Darts. These darts were found in Ammunition Bag Kits, Tactical Lights and other Nerf sets. It was introduced in 2002, but only sold in Mega Dart format, and only transitioned to Micro Dart format in 2003.
