The Stampede ECS (Electronic Clip System) was released on 9/9/10. It has a detachable grip/bipod mounted on the underside of the blaster. The standard-issue clip holds 18 darts. The blaster comes with three 18 round clips and one 6 round clip equaling 60 rounds in total (Worth $12.00 by themselves) that come with the blaster. Also included is a detachable shield that you can attach to all blasters except the Vulcan and a grip/bipod that is detachable via the standard Nerf Tactical Rail system. The blaster is motorized making it the first and only clip-system blaster to be fully automatic. It costs USD$50 in stores at this point. It was advertised in the "Clear the Way" advertisement, showing previous blasters being remade with a transparent color.

Features
The Stampede ECS comes with the the following features:
- Blast Shield - A mini-shield that attaches on top of the Stampede. Can block darts. Has a rail release button that will allow you to remove it without having to slide it off the rail.
- Tactical Rail- A rail that can have attachments put on it. This blaster has 6.
- Pop-Out Bipod - An extendable bipod used to place the blaster for important shots. Doubles as a fore-grip.
- 18 Dart Clip - An extendable six to eighteen dart clip. The blaster comes with three of these.
- Iron Sight - Similar to that of the Deploy CS-6.
- 6 Dart Clip - A clip holding six darts. The blaster comes with one of these.
Review
Description - The Stampede ECS is a really neat blaster. It is fully automatic, but very heavy. It features many cool features, and a built-in Iron Sight. It has six Tactical Rails. The blaster comes with 60 streamline darts, three 18 dart clips and one standard clip.
Range - 9/10 - It's range is generally about 30 to 40 feet. But can reach a maximum of 45 feet.
Accuracy - 9/10 - It has great accuracy, which is augumented by the rate of fire. Individual shots aren't perfectly accurate, but great enough.
Reliability - 9/10 - The blaster shouldn't jam unless bad darts are used. It almost never jams. Unlike the Vulcan, it must have batteries to fire. It does not have a manual cocking system.
Rate - 9/10 - Gets about 3 darts per second or 180 rounds per minute.
General - 9/10 - An above average blaster in almost all categories. But very expensive. Though awesome features make up for these. Pretty much the only downsides to this blaster are the price and 7 pound weight. The same problems equally apply for the Vulcan. How well both blasters do mostly depends on whether the user knows how to handle it correctly. The only difference between the two guns is that the Stampede is best used by people aged 8 and up, whereas the Vulcan should be used by people aged 10 and up. Nevertheless, the blasters are both entirely worth their prices and will perform equally perfect if handled/used correctly.
Trivia
- Some people confuse this with the Stampede REV-12, a blaster featured in the Nerf N-Strike video game. The only similarities between the two are the names.
- It looks a lot like the Spartan NCS-12 from the N-Strike Video Game.
- The Stampede was released on September 9th, 2010 (9/9/10).
- This is the most expensive Nerf blaster in the United States, with the exclusion of special value packs.
- The Stampede ECS is one of the heaviest Nerf blasters.
- When the blaster was first viewed by select members of the NIC that were invited to the launch event, the original name of the blaster was Stampede ECS-50, in the same styling of every other N-Strike blaster. It seems that after a certain NIC ambassador mentioned to one of the designers that the number 50 should have been a 60, the designer went to speak to a coleague. Sure enough, when they were released, the only ones that say 50 are in display cases. Strangely, the Stampede in its Japanese commercial had a 50 on its label, but the people making the commercial said ECS instead of ECS-50.
- It is called the Blazing Burst ECS in Japan.
- The Stampede ECS was ripped off by an unknown Chinese Company with extremely minor changes in the tactical rails and comes with a cheap plastic scope.
