The SuperMaxx 5000 is a 1998 Nerf SuperMaxx blaster that holds 3 Ballistic Balls, 3 Nerf Arrows and 5 Larami Darts. It is no longer available for purchase. It retailed for $24.99. It had received poor reviews.

It is a re-release of the SuperMaxx System 2000/5000 (Xtreme), and is essentially the same blaster, except that it used Nerf Arrows and Ballistic Balls. But, like the original, it used Larami Darts.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • SuperMaxx 5000s, along with their counterparts like the SuperTech 9000, are known for being notoriously powerful when modified. Most of modified 5000s and 9000s have the ability to shoot through soda cans and many layers of cardboard with Stefans, and as a result were banned from many Nerf wars.
