The Super Soaker 40 is a 1993 Classic Super Soaker Larami Super Soaker that holds 490mL of water in a pressurized reservoir. It is essentially a smaller and more powerful version of the Super Soaker 50 with better build quality. The Super Soaker 40 is now no longer available as its home line has since been discontinued, and got good reviews when it first came out. It is classified as an air blaster, and is one of the least documented Super Soakers from the Classic Super Soaker range.

Description

The Super Soaker 40 is a standard pistol-sized soaker, with a red body, blue reservoir and an orange red handle. The pistol grip of the soaker has ridges to allow for better grip.

Internals

The Super Soaker 40 has internals standard for air blasters for its time. It has a pinch-tube trigger, hoses and an air pump among other things.

Blaster Co-relation

The Super Soaker 40 is a successor to the Super Soaker 50, with improved build quality and more power in a smaller package.

Faults

Like most other blasters, the Super Soaker 40 has faults. The main fault with the soaker is that it is rather weak for water wars of today; the Super Soaker 40 has been thoroughly outclassed by similar-sized but more powerful XP and Max-D blasters. While weak, it is still a fairly decent choice for water wars, and one can actually get further on a full Super Soaker 40 tank than compared to a full XP 40 tank.

How to Fire

Step 1 - Load the reservoir with water.
Step 2 - Load the reservoir into the soaker.
Step 3 - Pump the blaster 30-40 times; 40 times is recommended if the blaster has been sitting unused for a long time.
Step 4 - Pull the trigger to fire a stream of water.
