The Switchshots Ultra is a 2000 Nerf Switchshots blaster that holds 4 Mega Darts. It is no longer available for purchase because its home line has since been discontinued. When introduced it costed $14.99. It got good reviews when it first came out.
Description
Proving that bigger tends to be better, the Nerf® Switch Shots Ultra™ improves upon its smaller brother, the Nerf Switch Shots Super™. The Ultra, while not shooting quite as far as the Super, can shoot two darts in a row without re-pumping (much like an oversized version of the Nerf SplitFire™) and is much more accurate.
Review
Description - The Switchshots Ultra is one of the first blasters to incorporate water into a Nerf blaster while firing darts at the same time.
Range - 9/10 - It gets a good 46 feet per shot.
Accuracy - 9/10 - It is surprisingly accurate with almost every shot.
Reliability - 5/10 - While no jamming problems occur, when water is left in the tank for long periods of time, it corrodes the blaster.
Rate - 5/10 - A poor rate is caused only by the way that the blaster is fired.
General - 7/10 - This is a good buy and very good for water fights too.
Trivia
- This was the second largest out of all the Switchshots created.
