The Tek 10 is a 2004 Buzz Bee Tek blaster that holds 10 Micro Darts. It has the highest capacity of darts in a Tek blaster yet, and is still available for purchase. It comes in green and previously yellow. A unique thing with the yellow blaster is that it came with a Tek 10 target, which today is only found in the Tek 4 (Target) and Tek 6 (Target). Due to the fact that in 2010 it was re-released as a Ultimate Blasters blaster called the Ultimate Tek 10, the original Tek 10 has been removed from Buzz Bee's website. It used to be part of a
double set, but was later discontinued. The newer Ultimate Tek 10 looks very different from the old one, which bore a resemblance to the Mad Hornet. It is still available as a Air Zone product. It was also included in the Tek Value Pack alongside the Tek 6. It was available in a two-pack, both in Air Zone form and regular form. The first generation is only sold in the form of the Air Zone two-pack currently.
Toys R Us's Description
Maximize your fun with a pack of two Air Zone Twin Tek Ten Suction Dart blasters. The automatic rotating barrel allows you to aim for your target and shoot ten foam darts before you have to reload. Shoots up to 20 feet. Includes 2 automatic dart guns and 20 foam darts.
How to Fire
Step 1: Load ten Micro Darts into the turret.
Step 2: Pull back the top handle and release.
Step 3: Pull the trigger back to fire the dart. Repeat the steps for each dart fired.
Successor
This blaster is a part of Buzz Bee's Tek line, which includes several blasters. It is among the first blasters released in the line, and was generally used as the primary in the line.
In early 2010 the Ultimate Blasters line was launched, and among the new blasters was the Ultimate Tek 10. This new and improved blaster was smaller, sleeker and overall a much better blaster than the regular Tek 10. It again used the same rate of fire, but ranges were improved and the blaster was more reliable as well. Despite the two blasters sharing the same 10-dart turret, these two blasters don't have a lot in common when it came to styling.
The Ultimate Tek 10 was discontinued shortly after its launch despite it being one of the best in its line. The same Tek 10 that was used before now returned under the new Air Warriors line although Buzzbeetoys.com still doesn't show the Tek 10.

The Tek 10 is a mediocre blaster that isn't very good when compared to competitors. Featuring a poor range of only 20 feet and horrible reliability rates, the Tek 10 is better off not being used in battle.
Ammo: | ||||||||
Pros: 10 darts, easily found, good grip
Cons: Poor range, breaks are extremely common, easily surpassed by competitors.
| ||||||||
This is a very average blaster. It doesn't have a lot of good points and doesn't stand out. It trails its competition and overall is only a good blaster to clear out small spaces quickly or for charging at opponents.
