The Tek 3 is a 2009 Buzz Bee blaster that holds 3 Micro Darts. It is the smallest out of the Tek series and the cheapest. It comes in a single, double, triple and a quad pack, all costing under $12. It got mixed to negative reviews from those who purchased it and has gotten extremely negative reviews from the Nerf community. It operates very poorly, it's range is very poor and inconsistent, and because you have to manually rotate the barrel, like with the Tek 4, it's rate of fire is also very poor.

- This blaster is near impossible to modify. Removing the air restrictors will break the blaster, the plunger is too small to take a larger spring, and it's shell is not the prettiest, so modders tend to stay clear away from this blaster.
- This was the competitor of the Secret Strike AS-1 from Nerf and the Stealth Shot from Lanard.
