The Thunderstrike is a Buzz Bee Blaster that holds 1 Micro Dart. It is the second Buzz Bee blaster to have the word "thunder" in its name. The Thunderstrike takes 2 "AA" batteries, and as such, produces sounds when primed and fired; these sounds sound like they could come from either a vibrating motor or a poor-quality speaker inside the blaster, similar to the Thunderbolt.

Description Edit

The Thunderstrike is a small blaster with a green priming slide, blue body, blue pistol grip with black accents and an orange barrel.

Internals Edit

The Thunderstrike has a reverse plunger, a spring, wires and a trigger. These parts work well.

Position in Theme Edit

The Thunderstrike is one of many pistols in the Air Blasters lineup.

Blaster Co-relation Edit

As the Thunderstrike is a simple single shot pistol, there are many blasters similar to it, such as the Single Tek and Derringer.

Faults Edit

Like most other blasters, the Thunderstrike has faults. One of the major faults of the blaster is its very poor performance; the Thunderstrike is notorious for being one of the worst performing stock Buzz Bee blasters, and fails to perform unless modded. A second fault is its sound effects; while they may appeal to young kids, these sound effects can get annoying after some time and can easily give away one's position when they prime the blaster. However, this can be easily circumvented by removing the batteries.

How to Fire Edit

Step 1 - Load one dart into the muzzle.
Step 2 - Pull the slide backwards and release.
Step 3 - Pull the trigger to fire the dart.

  • A promotional version of this blaster exists with Hero Factory decals, but lacks the sound effect feature of the original Thunderstrike.
  • The Thunderstrike bears more than a passing resemblance to the Nerf Lock 'n Load, bar ammo holders.
