The Torrent is a 2011 Buzz Bee blaster that holds 12 Micro Darts and Shells. It is a large pump-action blaster with a big green drum magazine-esque ammunition holder. It is a Target exclusive, and was the first blaster to use shells after many people thought they were long gone, with the last blaster that used them being the Rapid Fire Tek at the time.

Description[]

The Torrent is a large dark green blaster with a light green drum magazine-esque ammunition holder and a big orange barrel with fake suppressor threading on it.

Internals[]

The Torrent has a black reverse plunger, shafts, an arm used to kick out the shells, a long arm connected to the priming bar and a trigger. These parts work well.

Position in Theme[]

The Torrent is a rifle-like weapon in the Air Warriors lineup.

Blaster Co-relation[]

As the Torrent is a drum-magazine fed weapon, few weapons can be compared to it.

Faults[]

Like most other blasters, the Torrent has faults. One of the major faults of the blaster is its use of shells; while the shell ejection feature does attract kids, because the Torrent forcibly kicks shells out of the blaster when primed, along with the fact that the shells roll around, they can be easy to lose. Priming the blaster can also give away one's position with the shells clanging on the ground with their distinctive noise. Furthermore, the Torrent is unable to function without shells, and if one does not have shells, the Torrent is completely useless.

How to Fire[]

Step 1 - Open up the side hatch on the drum magazine.
Step 2 - Load up the twelve shells and darts into the blaster, with one shell in each rack.
Step 3 - Pump the blaster once.
Step 4 - Pull the trigger to fire the dart.
