Mega Blitz

The Triple Torch was a 1998 Nerf Mega Blitz blaster that is unique because it fired three different ammo types; Arrows, Mega Darts, or Micro Darts. It had its own slightly different arrow type never featured anywhere else, not even in refill packs. It holds 1 Gear Tooth Arrow, 3 Mega Darts or 3 Micro Darts. It is no longer available for purchase since its home line was discontinued. It sold for around $9.99 when it was first released. It got good reviews with the Micro Darts, but poor reviews with the other two ammo types.

How to fire Edit

Step 1 - Load any of the three ammunition types onto the barrel; darts go into the barrel, arrows onto the barrel.
Step 2 - Pull the red priming rod down.
Step 3 - Pull the trigger to fire.

Trivia Edit

  • The Jolt EX-1 is believed to be based off this blaster.
  • The only other known Nerf brand blaster to use three different ammo types is the SuperMaxx 5000, released the same year.
  • The Triple Torch wasn't just named for its ability to fire three different ammo types; it was also named for having a resemblance to a futuristic kitchen torch.
