Nerf Sports (Turbo, The Hundreds)

The Turbo Football is a 1987 Nerf Sports Turbo football. It was the football that spawned the Turbo series. It is known for its distinctive fluting, known as "turbo twist styling". The fluting apparently helps with one's grip, and allows the ball to perform "teriffic spirals" in the air. It was seen in multiple years after 1994, and in 1998, was rereleased as the Original Turbo Football. It was then discontinued. However, fourteen years later, The Hundreds and Nerf collaborated in 2012 to rerelease the Turbo Football, with a "The Hundreds" logo on it, and came in four different colors, and was officially released on September 6, 2012. Because of the multiple rereleases, the Turbo Football is one of the most famous Nerf Sports products made to date.
