XP

The XP 215 is a 2001 Super Soaker XP blaster that holds 125mL of water. It is one of the smallest Super Soakers ever made and the third smallest XP blaster, behind the XP 15 and XP 15: 2000 Edition. It was released in the last year for the XP line, 2001, and has since been re-released in 2004, 2006 and 2008. It has undergone many different color changes, and has been released in the XP 215 Twin Pack, the Marvel Heroes Blaster Pack, the Max-D 3000 Twin Pack and the Arctic Shock Bonus Pack. It is classified as an Air Blaster. After being pumped 20 times, it is ready to fire. Its' successor is most likely to be the Point Break and Hydro Fury, which were similarly released with the same duty and overall build as the XP 215.

Hasbro's Description (Marvel)

In a world where the sun has drifted dangerously close to Earth, causing the hottest temperatures on record, water becomes more valuable than gold. As supplies dry up, ordinary men turn to crime to quench their terrible thirst. In these desperate times, an extraordinary group of heroes fights to save our planet! Spider-Man Will his spider powers be enough? When the foes are a gigantic blazing sun on one side and hordes of dehydrated humans on the other, even the greatest hero needs a little help from his friends! Wolverine The ultimate clawed warrior, Wolverine teams with Spider-Man to battle villains new and old, buying time for Iron Man and the world’s scientists to solve the sun problem. Iron Man His repulsor technology and scientific genius may be the only things that can force the sun back to its normal orbit and save Earth from being fried. It’s three times the action, three times the “crime-fighting” and three times the awesome water blasting with this Marvel Heroes three-blaster pack! Pump-pressured blasting lets you pump each blaster up and then deliver a steady stream of villain-annihilating water up to 23 feet! Keep all three stealth-sized blasters for yourself in a battle or lend two of them to friends and build a team of mighty water-wielding heroes! Pack includes Spider-Man, Wolverine and Iron Man character themed-blasters. Ages 6 and up. CAUTION -- Do NOT at aim at eyes or face. To Avoid Injury: Use only clean tap water.

Hasbro's Description (Tech Demo)

Don't be fooled by this small soaker,it delivers a powerful stream of soakage. Easy to conceal and surprise your opponent with a pressurized blast of water. Blasts up to 20 feet.

Super Soaker Central's Description

The XP 215 is one of the smallest Super Soakers ever made. It fits in your pocket without issue and actually holds a fair amount of water for its size. Performance-wise it is spectacular for its size. I recommend this gun for anyone who plays a game of Assassins because it gets Super Soaker power in the size of a squirt gun

iSoaker's Description

The Super Soaker XP 215 is a great air-pressure-based pocket SuperSoaker and probably one of my favourite all-time water blasters. Its style appears based on the Super Soaker XP 220 and Super Soaker XP 240, but its diminuitive size allows this blaster to go and be used virtually anywhere. Its range and capacity are excellent for a blaster this size.

Review

Description - The XP 215 is among the best pocket Super Soakers ever made. It is a great backup blaster at a great price.

Range - 6/10 - It can only shoot up to 23 feet, which is still good for its size.

Accuracy - 4/10 - It has a very weak stream, which limits accuracy.

Reliability - 9/10 - The only major fault is that the nozzle, if overpumped, will begin to drizzle.

Capacity - 2/10 - It can only hold 125mL of water.

Overall - 5/10 - While it doesn't have good capacity, it still packs a punch. It is to be recommended.

Trivia

  • As of 2011, it is only available in the Marvel Pack, however may be sold still at stores that have not sold out of them.
  • One one area, Hasbro advertised that its shoots up to 20 feet, while on another they claimed it shoots up to 23 feet.
