Additional Pages:

The Zap Snaps is a 1992 Nerf Original Nerf Series blaster that holds one Zap Snaps Rocket. Very few prototypes exist. At the last minute, it was cancelled due to the fact that the red spire on the blaster could potentially poke someone's eye out.

Description[]

The Zap Snaps is a slingshot-style blaster. There is a black body and grip, and a red spire on the top which is meant for one to take the Zap Snaps Rocket and load onto the tip of the spire, pull back the string and launch.

Internals[]

The Zap Snaps, though a blaster, lacks any real internals as it consists of just a spire.

Position in Theme[]

The Zap Snaps does not really fit into the Original Nerf Series.

Blaster Co-relation[]

There is no easy way to compare it to any other blaster. The only candidates are other slingshot-style blasters.

Faults[]

Like all other blasters, the Zap Snaps has faults. The main fault is the blaster's safety hazard, the spire. Another fault was the lack of ammo refill packs
